Criminal justice systems play a crucial role in facilitating access to justice, and CGP works to support improvements in due process, fair trials, juvenile justice, and alternatives to incarceration. CGP acknowledges that the increasingly connected world has presented new, unprecedented challenges to criminal justice systems. Transnational organized crime trafficks drugs, humans, and wildlife while laundering ill-gotten gains in a variety of places and manners. CGP engages with law enforcement, civil society, and various government institutions to counter the perpetrators and networks that facilitate these international criminal activities.
